As Landesign continues to grow, we’re expanding our team to support new opportunities throughout the North Bay. We’re excited to be hiring a Landscape Construction Project Manager to oversee projects across Napa, Sonoma and Marin counties. This is a long-term opportunity for the right person to eventually step into leading the team, backed by strong budgeting skills and hands-on leadership.

Keep Your Irrigation Working Smarter This Summer
July is recognized as Smart Irrigation Month by the Irrigation Association, reminding us that efficient irrigation is one of the best ways to conserve water, reduce costs, and maintain healthy landscapes. While Smart Irrigation Month is celebrated in July, these practices make a difference all year long.
At Landesign, our dedicated water management team works every day to help customers get the most from their irrigation systems through routine inspections, seasonal controller adjustments, leak detection, smart controller upgrades, and proactive maintenance. Their expertise helps reduce water waste while keeping properties looking their best and saving money.
This month, we’d like to recognize two of the leaders behind our irrigation program: Irrigation Manager, Armando Vargas and Irrigation Field Supervisor, Jose Macias. Together, they lead a talented team of irrigation technicians who are committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers. Armando’s 20 plus years of experience with us, combined with Jose’s field leadership and hands-on expertise, make them an outstanding team dedicated to protecting our customers’ landscapes and water resources.
Project Spotlight: Gasser Pickleball Courts in Napa
When the team behind the Gasser pickleball courts needed a landscape that could keep pace with an active, fast-growing amenity, they turned to our construction team to bring the vision to life.
Our crews handled the project start to finish:
- Soil Preparation — building a healthy foundation for long-term plant health
- Irrigation Design & Build — a custom system engineered for efficient, reliable coverage
- Planting — a mix of trees and drought-tolerant shrubs selected for texture, color, and durability, well-suited to Napa’s Mediterranean climate
- Universal Play Synthetic Turf with steel edging — built for durability and low maintenance
- Arbor Mulch — locked in moisture and gave the beds a clean, finished look
The result is a courtside landscape that’s as functional as it is good-looking and built to stand up to heavy foot traffic while still feeling like a real destination. Our maintenance team now cares for the space, keeping it looking pristine day in and day out.
We’re right here in Napa and Solano Counties
Projects like the Gasser pickleball courts are a good reminder that we are not just passing through, we have a branch dedicated to Napa and Solano County. A local crew based right in the area means faster response times and more time working on your property instead of driving to it. We also bring local knowledge of soil and microclimates that come from working in the territory everyday.
