Leader’s MessageThis Earth Day, our team came together from design and plant selection to coordination and installation to complete a landscape refresh in the courtyard at St. Vincent’s School for Boys in San Rafael. We removed old plantings, installed new irrigation, and added fresh flowers, plants, and mulch which brought this well used space to life. St. Vincent’s is a Catholic Charities residential program that has provided therapeutic care for at-risk boys ages 7–18 in Marin County for over 170 years. We were glad to put our skills to work for such a worthy organization right in our backyard.

AFTER: Well thought design and placement of native plants, new irrigation and fresh mulch give the space new life for all to enjoy.
As a company that works outdoors every day, we have a real stake in the health of our environment and the communities we serve. Projects like this are a reminder of why that matters.

Employee Spotlight: A Day at Western Hills Garden
At Landesign we believe that great work in the field starts with a great team. That’s why we recently treated our Field Supervisors to something a little different, a field trip to Western Hills Garden.
Our supervisors spend their days managing crews, solving problems on-site, and keeping your properties looking their best. We wanted to give them a chance to step back, get inspired, and connect as a team. The day was filled with hands-on exploration of rare and unusual plants, thoughtful garden design, and the kind of inspiration that can only come from walking through a beautifully maintained landscape. Our team came back energized, full of ideas, and more connected than ever.
